Health and safety education has been a NB Safety Council focus since the organization founding in 1967. The Safety Council educates industry managers, safety professionals and workers to improve the safety, quality and production efforts of your organization.
The NBSC offers dozens of different programs and workshops in such fields as: Traffic Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene. SUPERVISORS ARE YOUR FIRST LINE OF DEFENCE IN ACCIDENT PREVENTION Safety guidance at the supervisory level is vital to preventing accidents and injuries in the workplace. Safety doesn't happen by itself. It must be fostered from the top down and instilled through training.
The Supervisor Development Program (SDP) is designed to do just that - train supervisors to create a workforce that makes safety a priority. In addition, to comprehensive safety and health training, SDP develops communication and leadership skills required to effectively instruct line workers.
